The United States men’s national team is through to the Concacaf Gold Cup semifinals after besting Costa Rica in a penalty shootout at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday.
The U.S. had a perfect group stage with three wins, and followed it up by besting former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas on penalties.
The U.S. will play Guatemala in the semifinals on Wednesday; Mexico and Honduras secured their spot in the other semifinal.
