The MLB season is picking up steam.
Let’s take a look at the odds for which two players will separate themselves from the rest by winning MVP at the end of the year, with odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of June 25.
American League MVP 2025
Aaron Judge: -900 (bet $10 to win $11.11 total)
Cal Raleigh: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Bobby Witt Jr.: +9000 (bet $10 to win $910 total)
Jose Ramirez: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
Tarik Skubal: +11000 (bet $10 to win $1,110 total)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: +15000 (bet $10 to win $1,510 total)
Junior Caminero: +18000 (bet $10 to win $1,510 total)
What to know: We’re midway through the 2025 season, and the AL MVP race appears … over? Aaron Judge — last year’s winner — has been this year’s favorite since before Opening Day. As we near the end of June, Judge is leading MLB in batting average (.364) and hits (107). He ranks second in home runs with 28 and is also second in the AL with 62 RBIs. Simply put, he is the best hitter in baseball. Judge is looking to become the first back-to-back AL MVP winner since Miguel Cabrera won the award in 2012 and 2013.
Another name rising in the standings is Cal Raleigh, whose odds improved from +2500 to +500 in just one week, during which he recorded 11 hits and five home runs. Raleigh leads the league in home runs with 32 and RBIs with 69.
National League MVP 2025
Shohei Ohtani: -500 (bet $10 to win $12 total)
Pete Crow-Armstrong: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
Pete Alonso: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Kyle Tucker: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Ronald Acuña Jr.: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Juan Soto: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Fernando Tatis Jr.: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)
Corbin Carroll: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)
What to know: Shohei Ohtani is in the same boat as Judge, opening the year as the favorite after winning the NL MVP last season and only seeing his odds shorten. Currently, he leads the NL in home runs (27) and is third in hits (90). Presumably, his RBIs would be higher (he only has 51) if he didn’t bat leadoff, meaning he is often up to the plate with no runners in scoring position. Ohtani is looking to win back-to-back NL MVP awards for the first time since Albert Pujols did it in 2008 and 2009. However, he won the AL MVP in 2023 and NL MVP in 2024, making him the first player in MLB history to win MVP back-to-back in each league.
